We have lost a colossus, Badmus says as he mourns Late Omidiran

The Honourable Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Engr. Olalekan Badmus, has described the death of late Asiwaju of Osogboland, Alh. Hamed Omidiran, a  huge loss.

He said the state as well as the country have lost a colossus with the passing on of the Osogbo business mogul.

This was contained in a condolence message released by the Commissioner in Osogbo.

Badmus stated that it was with heavy hearts that he “join other sons and daughters of Osogbo to mourn the death of one of our foremost fathers in Osogbo, Alh. Hamed Omidiran.”

The Special Duties’ boss continued that, “it is an understatement that we have lost a colossus and an elder statesman with immense influence on not only the state but also the country as baba has done a whole lot to secure a place for himself in the history of our society’s development.”

He however added that, “I want to seize this moment to pray to Almighty Allah to open up the path of Al-Jannah for the departed soul and make the kubr a place of peace for him.

“On behalf of myself and family, I want to extend condolences to the family of the late Asiwaju of Osogbo land.”
