The Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmad Bamalli has tasked residents of Kaduna State and Politicians on mutual respect, and advised them to desist from taking laws into their hands.
The royal father who gave the advice on Saturday in Zaria after casting his vote, urged the residents to be tolerant, patience and law abiding.
He noted that whosoever took laws into his hands would not go free, adding that those instigating others to fight were not telling themselves the truth.
The Emir who described the elections as peaceful and seamless, however, implored candidates who eventually emerged winners to carry everybody along devoid of political and ethno-religious sentiments.
He commended the peaceful disposition of the electorate as well as the peaceful conduct of the elections by the INEC across the emirate.
He disclosed that he had received reports from the district heads on the peaceful conduct of the polls in their dormain.
