The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has advised the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, to use his wealth of experience to deepen democratic culture in the country.

The newly elected President of NANS, Mr Usman Umar Barambu, gave the advice when he led a delegation from the association to pay a surprise visit to the APC National Chairman Adamu, in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

Barambu said the objective of the visit was to congratulate Adamu for his emergence as the APC National Chairman and commend his leadership style in running the affairs of the party.

The student leader said after four decades of existence, NAN deemed it necessary to establish the right partnership needed to resolve challenges bedeviling the nation’s education sector.

Barambu, who is an undergraduate student of Jigawa State University, Dutse, described the APC National Chairman as a revered former NANS leader who is a shining example to leadership and members of the association.

Responding, Adamu, a former two-term governor of Nasarawa State, who appreciated the new leadership of NANS, promised to work with them.

He urged them to mobilize the Nigerian Students to support APC to retain the presidency and win all elective positions in the forthcoming general election 2023.
