Ibadan: (Flowerbudnews) Olusegun Utman Lawal, has been installed as Magaji Sunkunmole Family, Popoyemoja, Ibadan by the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Dr. Mohood Olamilekan Okumade 11.
Chief Uthman Lawal, who is the son of a former Director of Finance and Accounts (DFA) of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Alhaja Adijat Lawal, was installed today at the Olubadan’s palace.
The installation ceremony was well-attended by scores of family members and friends from far and near.
With Chief Lawal’s installation as Magaji, sources familiar with traditional settings of Ibadan told Flowerbudnews that with Chief Lawal’s installation as Magaji, it meant that he could also become the Olubadan of Ibadan in future.
Chief Lawal, who is currently a staff of the News Agency of Nigeria, is happily married with two daughters.
