Group hails Akeredolu’s victory in Court over APC’s candidacy

A group in Ondo State that was in the forefront of galvanizing support for the re- election bid of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu under the aegis of Soji Ehinlanwo Group For Akeredolu Second Term (SEGFAST), has lauded the Judiciary for its clear validation of the candidacy  of the Governor on the platform of the  ll Progressives Congress, APC.

The group under the leadership of the United Kingdom (UK) based ICT consultant, Prince Soji Ehinlanwo, pointed out that God has always been supporting all the moves by Akeredolu to govern the Sunshine State in spite of efforts of detractors and minor but unwarranted distractions.

SEGFAST noted that the APC structure at the national level followed necessary guidelines and provisions to pick Akeredolu as candidate for the August primary election in the state.

The group, therefore, celebrated Akeredolu for yet another victory at the Federal High Court, Abuja, stressing that the Senior Advocate is destined to serve the state even more diligently and take it to greater glory.

It expressed optimism that with the actions of the Governor since he took the mantle of leadership in the state on February 24,2016, he would definitely use his God-given talents to further uplift Ondo State in his second term

The statement reads” Every resident in the state should rally round the present administration in the state to facilitate more development especially in area of viable economic development, further infrastructure developments, job creation, security and peaceful co-existence.

“The recent judgment has clearly demonstrated that there was no procedural abnormality in the choice of Akeredolu as APC’s flag bearer and his eventual victory at the polls”.

The group hailed the sound judgment that focused on necessary details, constitutional provisions and party’s principles which had sustained APC over the years.

It reiterated the support of all SEGFAST members across the state for the success of Akeredolu’s administration, urging other party’s stalwarts to promote APC interests above individual parochial interests.

The statement further urged Governor Akeredolu to remain a father-figure to every citizen in the state irrespective of political affiliations.

It also rejoiced with the APC state chairman, Ade Adetimehin for his political acumen in leading the party to success at all times.
