Ede: Today Tuesday 7th March, 2023 the administration of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke clocks 100days in office as the Executive Governor of Osun State. In the last 100days, Osun has unarguably experienced a fresh breeze of Good Governance, friendly and pro-people policies and orders.
For the first time in history, Osun revenue generation experienced what should be best described as total “sanitation” among the government agencies and assets, where all revenue leakages are blocked and increase the internal revenue of the State. Within the last 100days in office, Osun Health Sector is rejuvenating with people-orented schemes which are having direct impacts on the lives of citizens such as Osun Free Surgical and Medical Services where various surgical operations on people suffering from cataracts, Pterygium, Hernia, Hydrocele, Lipoma, Keloids, and some swellings on the body, while medical conditions like hypertension, diabetes, malaria, cough, tuberculosis and other diseases are also treated.
In the last 100days in office, Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke in his determination to ensure digitalisation of Economy of Osun State and in line with global practices, has inaugurated the First Digital Economy Advisory Board in the state. The the Tech Innovations, ICT, Digital Economy, Osun State Google Mapping, Start Up Bill and Broadband Fiber Optic will in no doubt enhanced the State internally generated revenue.
In the area of Social Development and Welfare Sector, the Osun State Government led by Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has supported Osun Community and Social Development Agency, Osun CSDA, with #518million for the implementation of multi-sectoral and socially inclusive micro-projects forty(40) various communities in the state. Here is a people-friendly government who has within 100 days provided an enabling environment for developmental efforts to thrive.
In term of workers welfarism, what seems impossible for the 4years reign of immediate past Governor Gboyega Oyetola APC led administration in the State has obviously been fulfilled within 100days in office of Governor Ademola Adeleke interm of payment of half salaries debts by the APC led administrations in the State. So also the payments to the contributory pensioners in all levels and agencies of government in the State. These are indeed giants feat that has proven Governor Ademola Adeleke to be much passionate about the welfarism of the civil servants.
Simultaneously, aside the abandoned projects which Mr. Governor inherited and has re-mobilized contractors back to site, several other developmental projects such as road constructions across the Nine(9) Federal Constituencies of the State are ongoing, same as construction and installation of motorized boreholes in each of the 332 Wards of the State and many more. All these with 100days in office are testament to the fact that here is a begining of a new dawn in Osun State where the fantastic people of Osun will have at the helm of affairs, a leader who is passionate to better the lives of the helpless and hopeless people.
