The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, has cast his vote in Galadima B polling unit, Umaisha, Toto Local Government Area of the state,
After voting at 9.20 a.m for the Governorship and State Assembly Elections, Abdullahi expressed optimism of winning his third term ambition.
He urged his constituents to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the exercise.
“l am calling on my people to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the period as victory is on our side.
“I am optimistic of clear victory In-sha Allah. I am also optimistic of Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s victory by the grace of God.
“I want to advise the opposition that they should be patient and wait for their time,” he said.
Similarly, the Ohimege Opanda Umaisha, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi, called on his people to come out enmasse and vote peacefully.
The first class traditional ruler, who cast his vote by 9.10 a.m at Galadima A polling unit in Umaisha, also called on all candidates and their supporters to exhibit high level of sportsmanship.
“I want them to accept whatever the outcome of the result will be in good faith,” he said.
